30. Brett's 1st Marathon, Completely Solo, Wearing A 25# Weight Vest
Brett recently completed his first marathon ruck (carrying weight) and did it in a very unique way, and for a very unique reason. Going through tough times can cause us to do some crazy things. For Brett, he decided to turn his focus to completing his very first marathon with less than 7 weeks of training. He also shares how and why he decided to up the difficulty and challenge for himself. If you have ever run an endurance race, thought about running a race, or are going through a tough time of your own, you will love this episode. Brett also shares what it means to raise your “hard ceiling,” as well as the peace and comfort he never expected to find during his “moving meditation.”
Action Step: Do you feel like your “hard ceiling” has gotten lower than it used to be? Perhaps it's time for a challenge to raise your own hard ceiling. Hopefully this episode challenges you to find your own “hard physical challenge” that helps you remind yourself how strong you really are. If you enjoyed this episode, please share it with a friend, family member, or co-worker who you think may benefit from it.
